HELLENiQ ENERGY enters the energy storage business

HELLENiQ ENERGY Holdings S.A. (“Company”) announces that, its 100% subsidiary, HELLENiQ Renewables, participated in the first tender held in Greece for the granting of investment and operating aid to energy storage system (ESS) projects. HELLENiQ Renewables’ all three (3) ESS projects, with a total capacity of 100 MW and a guaranteed storage capacity of 200 MWh, were included in Regulatory Authority for Waste, Energy and Water (RAWEW)’s list of eligible projects.

The 3 eligible ESS projects, the larger with a nominal capacity of 50 MW and the other two of 25 MW each, will be developed in the Group’s industrial facilities in Thessaloniki, utilizing existing infrastructure.

The successful participation of HELLENiQ Renewables in the ESS tender marks its entry into the energy storage business, which is complementary to Renewable Energy Sources and necessary to increase RES penetration in the electricity production mix.

Notification of completion of transaction

HELLENiQ ENERGY Holdings S.A. (the “Company”) announces that on 7.12.2023, following a letter sent by its shareholders, Hellenic Republic Asset Development Fund S.A. ("HRADF") and Paneuropean Oil & lndustrial Holdings S.A. ("POIH"), was informed of their decision to dispose of certain of their shares in the Company on a pro-rata basis, through an international private placement, in accordance with the provisions of the HRADF Law and the HRADF’s updated Asset Development plan. Notification of appointment of Market Makers

(the "Issuer") announces that the Listings and Market Operation Committee of the Athens Stock Exchange (“ΑΤΗΕΧ”), with its decisions of 30/10/2023 and 01/11/2023, approved the appointment of the ATHEX Members "Eurobank Equities S.A." and "Alpha Finance S.A." as Market Makers on the Issuer's shares, with Wednesday, 1 November 2023 and Tuesday, 7 November 2023, respectively, set as the start dates of the Market Making obligations.
