Program Pillars
The Empowering Future Leaders program offers employment and growth opportunities in engineering roles within our core business units, in commercial positions within our companies, in digital transformation, as well as in corporate functions. Throughout the two-year journey, clear goals and KPIs are set, and each participant’s performance is regularly assessed. Upon completion of the program, an objective evaluation of participants will be conducted, and those who stand out will have the opportunity to continue their career within the Group.

Through modern learning tools, the program offers comprehensive technical trainings that is applicable in practice and tailored to each role. This is combined with soft skills development programs essential for career growth and success in a modern work environment.

Participants receive one-on-one mentoring from experienced professionals, practical support, and regular feedback to develop their skills and accelerate their professional development. At the same time, they participate in joint activities and team projects that encourage collaboration, the exchange of ideas and the development of team spirit.

The Empowering Future Leaders Program is ideal for individuals with a strong academic foundation and the mindset to grow within a collaborative and international business environment.
The Program is built around four professional journeys:
From Refining to Domestic and International Marketing, participants explore the entire energy sector’s value chain. They gain practical experience in engineering roles in the areas of operations, maintenance, health and safety, and logistics. They work alongside experienced industry professionals and gain a comprehensive perspective by combining roles in corporate functions.
Through roles in Group’s commercial companies (Sales, Marketing, Network Development, and Market Analysis), participants deepen their understanding of the Group’s commercial strategy. They actively contribute to shaping business initiatives that influence the energy market, building skills in market trends and customer insights.
Participants who join the Group’s digital core contribute to automation projects, systems implementation, and digital transformation initiatives. With activities ranging from AI to software development, they help modernize operations across all business areas.
Participants gain a well-rounded view of the Group’s overall operations by working in one or more corporate functions, such as Human Resources, Finance, Procurement, and Corporate Affairs. Through strategic projects, they develop skills and experience that support critical business needs.

FAQs
The basic eligibility requirements include:
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree from a higher education institution, in a field related to engineering or economic sciences. A Master’s degree will serve as a competitive advantage.
- Up to 2 years of work experience.
- Flexibility to relocate to different company locations, both in Greece and abroad.
- Completed military obligations (where applicable)
The evaluation is based on the following steps:

Evaluation Day
Join a comprehensive, demanding and dynamic 2-day evaluation assessment, where you will showcase your skills through activities, presentations and simulation of real-life business scenarios
Throughout the process, your performance will be assessed based on clear criteria and objectives.
The application is submitted exclusively through the dedicated platform, including the sending of the CV. After completing all the required fields, a confirmation email is sent for successful submission.
Throughout the evaluation process, candidates will receive email updates on the progress of their application and in case they do not proceed to the next stage.
The position is physically present at the Group's facilities (Industrial installations or Headquarters), depending on the area of employment.
The Program has a total duration of two years, divided into three stages – one lasting a year and two lasting six months each. This structure allows participants to gain a well-rounded view and develop skills across various business areas, with an evaluation at the end of each stage.
During the Program, Future Leaders will take part in demanding and complex projects, designed in collaboration with business units. The projects are linked to different professional journeys (Engineering, Commercial, Digital, Corporate Functions) and are assessed against clear KPIs defined from the start. Each project offers the opportunity to demonstrate initiative, teamwork and the ability to manage real business challenges.
