HELLENiQ ENERGY is proud to announce the launch of its new two-year employment program, "Empowering Future Leaders," designed to give recent graduates the opportunity to start their careers within one of Southeastern Europe’s largest energy groups. The program offers placements in strategic energy sectors, involvement in innovative international projects, and continuous professional development through training and mentorship from the company’s leadership and experienced professionals.
A Dynamic Career Kickstart
As a pioneering talent development initiative in Greece, "Empowering Future Leaders" offers selected graduates the chance to work on cutting-edge energy projects and experience rapid growth from day one.
Through this program, participants gain access to HELLENiQ ENERGY’s broad business ecosystem, with exposure to subsidiaries such as HELLENiQ Petroleum, HELLENiQ Renewables, EKO, and ELPEDISON — building a comprehensive understanding of the sector and its prospects.
Program Structure and Professional Journeys
The two-year program is divided into three phases (one annual and two semi-annual stages), providing hands-on experience across different areas of HELLENiQ ENERGY. Candidates can choose from four professional journeys:
Engineering
Participants explore the full value chain of the energy industry, from refining to domestic and international trading. They gain practical experience in engineering roles covering operations, maintenance, health and safety, and logistics. Collaboration with seasoned industry professionals provides a well-rounded perspective, including roles in corporate functions.
Commercial
Through roles in the Group’s commercial companies — covering Sales, Marketing, Network Development, and Market Analysis — young graduates deepen their understanding of the Group’s commercial strategy. They actively contribute to business initiatives that shape the market and develop skills in trend analysis and customer needs assessment.
Digital Transformation
Joining the Group’s digital core, participants support automation and systems development projects aimed at modernizing operations and advancing technological capabilities.
Corporate
Graduates gain a broad view of the Group’s corporate functions, working in units such as Human Resources, Finance, Procurement, and Corporate Affairs. Strategic projects within these areas help develop skills and experience critical to essential business needs.
Participants in the "Empowering Future Leaders" Program will benefit from a contemporary, comprehensive training programme tailored to their professional focus. They will engage with modern learning tools, skills development workshops, and receive personal mentoring from the senior management team. The Program fosters innovative thinking, teamwork, and leadership development, with individual progress monitored through clear goals and KPIs.
Application and Selection Process
The "Empowering Future Leaders" Program is open to recent graduates from universities in Greece and abroad who hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree and have up to two years of professional experience. Candidates must be flexible to relocate within the Group’s sites, both in Greece and internationally.

Final selection involves a rigorous multi-stage evaluation process, including knowledge tests, interviews, and a two-day assessment centre with workshops, group exercises, and presentations.
