Students from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTh) and cadets from the Hellenic Army’s Fuel Pipeline Officers’ School (ΣΕΠΑΚ) recently visited HELLENiQ ENERGY’s industrial facilities in Thessaloniki, where they were briefed on global energy sector developments and the Group’s professional training and career opportunities.
Hosted by HELLENiQ Petroleum, a member of HELLENiQ ENERGY, these informational sessions form part of the Groupr’s broader commitment to building strong, long-term bridges with the academic community and the next generation of scientists and professionals.
During their guided tour, the AUTh students—members of the student union INEFAN (Independent Economic & Financial Analysis)—had the opportunity to explore the company’s advanced infrastructure and learn about its operations. They received first-hand insights into HELLENiQ ENERGY’s energy and digital transformation journey, as well as into career opportunities and internship programs within the Group. Particular interest was shown in the Group’s long-standing Scholarship Program, which for the past 13 years has supported postgraduate studies at prestigious institutions in Greece and abroad.
During both visits, HELLENiQ ENERGY emphasized its outward-looking corporate character and leadership in the energy sector. The Group continues to modernize its core operations in refining and fuel marketing, while actively investing in cutting-edge technologies and innovation. It is also expanding into new energy markets, growing its renewables and green energy portfolio, and embedding ESG principles into its overall business strategy..
At the same time, HELLENiQ ENERGY offers a work environment that fosters development, encourages fresh thinking, and promotes continuous advancement—attracting talented individuals with expertise, vision, and the ambition to thrive in a dynamic and forward-looking organization.
