HELLENIC PETROLEUM Group grants Masters Scholarships at top universities
Proud of Youth

For the tenth consecutive year, the HELLENIC PETROLEUM Group, within the framework of the “Proud of Youth" Corporate Responsibility Program, rewarded outstanding graduates, who were accepted for postgraduate studies in scientific fields relevant to the Group's activity.

16 high caliber graduates will continue their exceptional academic career at distinguished universities in the USA, Europe and Greece (Harvard University, Imperial College of London, HEC Paris, ETH Zürich, TU Delft, University of Macedonia, Athens University of Economics and Business), with the support of the HELPE Group.

The Scholarship Awards ceremony took place on Monday, August the 29th at the headquarters of the HELLENIC PETROLEUM Group. The Chairman of the BoD, the Chief Executive Officer and senior management executives congratulated the HELPE scholarship holders and wished them best of luck with meeting their desired academic and professional goals.

Chief Executive Officer Mr. Andreas Shiamishis stated: “We are constantly supporting the youth in their effort for academic success that will boost their career prospects and fulfill their professional dreams. Through the “Proud of Youth" program, we assist our scholarship holders with their postgraduate studies in scientific areas at the forefront of technological innovation and sustainability, at distinguished universities in Europe and America. The HELLENIC PETROLEUM Group will always be by the side of the younger generation, investing in tomorrow's country and contributing to the effort for a sustainable and better future for all." Through the “Proud of Youth" program, a total of 246 scholarships have been granted, for academic studies not only in Greece but also in France, Germany, Switzerland, the United States of America, the United Kingdom, Canada, Norway and the Netherlands.

This initiative is yet another important CR action, through which the HELLENIC PETROLEUM Group will continue to support the Greek youth in the realization of its dreams.
