Revitalizing the Outdoor Space of the “ANAPNOI” Kindergarten in West Thessaloniki

HELLENiQ ENERGY has renovated the outdoor area of the “ANAPNOI” Kindergarten, located adjacent to the Church of Saint Athanasios in Evosmos, which serves 33 preschool children. The project was implemented as part of the Company’s Corporate Responsibility Program, in partnership with the Holy Metropolis of Neapolis & Stavroupolis.

The renovation included extensive landscaping works: repairing and redesigning access paths, installing safe and modern outdoor play equipment, and creating seating and rest areas for the children. In addition, the surrounding fence was maintained to ensure maximum safety.

An environmental activity was also organized on the premises for preschool and primary school children from the surrounding area, aimed at raising awareness and informing them about environmental protection.

Operating since 2004 under the supervision of the Holy Metropolis, the “ANAPNOI” Kindergarten supports low-income families in a community facing heightened social challenges. HELLENiQ ENERGY has consistently supported the Metropolis’s social mission, having already donated over 100,000 litres of heating oil to its social infrastructure and backing its food aid programs.

Mr. Athanasios Paspaliaris, Manager of Thessaloniki Industrial Facilities at HELLENiQ Petroleum, stated:

His Eminence Metropolitan Varnavas of Neapolis and Stavroupolis emphasized:
