Announcement for the payment of interim dividend for fiscal year 2023

HELLENiQ ENERGY Holdings S.A. (the “Company”) hereby announces, in accordance with article 4.1.3.4 of the ATHEX Exchange Rulebook, that the Company's Board of Directors decided during its meeting that took place on 02.11.2023, the distribution of interim dividend for fiscal year 2023, amounting to €91,690,556, which corresponds to a gross amount of €0.30 per share.

According to the applicable tax provisions, the gross amount of the interim dividend of €0.30 per share is subject to a 5% withholding tax (with the exception or differentiation of such withholding for shareholders falling under special provisions), hence the net amount of the interim dividend to be paid is €0.285 per share.

The Company's Board of Directors decided that the shares will trade ex-dividend on Wednesday, 10 January 2024; while Thursday, 11 January 2024 was defined as the date of determination of the interim dividend beneficiaries (record date). Interim dividend payment (after deducting applicable taxes and charges in accordance with the relevant law provisions) will commence on Wednesday, 17 January 2024.

The payment of the interim dividend will be conducted through National Bank of Greece S.A., as follows:

1.      Through the operators of the beneficiaries in the DSS (Banks and Brokerage Firms), in accordance with the ATHEX Exchange Rulebook of the Hellenic Securities Depository.

2.     Ιn cases of dividend payment to heirs of deceased beneficiaries, whose securities are kept in the Special Account of their Shareholding Account in the DSS under the ATHEXCSD management, the dividend payment process will be carried out after the completion of the legalization of heirs, through the paying bank’s retail network.

Any dividend that will not be collected within 5 years, will be written off in favor of the Greek State.
