Double award for HELLENiQ Upstream at the 4th Operators Forum

Two awards for HELLENiQ Upstream for “Efficiency” and “Best in class environment stewardship”

HELLENiQ Upstream, subsidiary of HELLENiQ ENERGY, received two awards (out of the four that were given in total) at the 4th Operators’ Forum. 

The Forum is the annual meeting dedicated to fostering effective and transparent collaboration between the Investors, the Ministry of the Environment & Energy and the Hellenic Hydrocarbons and Energy Resources Management Company (HEREMA). 

HEREMA awarded HELLENiQ Upstream for “Efficiency” regarding the acceleration of its exploration programs in Block 10 and Ionian Block, and the performance of 2D and 3D seismic campaigns in less than a year. The second distinction “Best in class environment stewardship” was awarded for efficient conduct of marine geophysical works with zero environmental footprint and the outmost respect to marine life. 

Mr. Tassos Vlassopoulos, CEO and Mr. George Mikoniatis, HSE Manager represented HELLENiQ Uptream, while the awards were given by Mrs. Alexandra Sdoukou, Deputy Minister of Environment & Energy. 

The Forum was attended by the Board of Directors of HEREMA, representatives of the Ministry and the other two operators, ExxonMobil and Energean.
